[Video] Dog Shows Amazing Love, Save Child From Father's Abuse

Be the first to comment!
I promise you, this will be the best thing you see all day today. Watch the video to see this amazing dog going all the way to protect the child from mock-abuse of father. In order to record the dog's amazing behavior, an 8 year old boy's father acts like he is scolding, abusing and is about to hit the child (which he's not doing and the child understands that this is all make-believe because you can see the child smiling throughout the video). The dog, thinking that the abuse is real, tries his very best to protect the child from the abuse and hurtful words.

See this and laugh away.

[VIDEO] How Your Dog Can Protect You Before You're Born

Be the first to comment!
Do you know that your dog or cat can protect you from diseases even before you are born? Here is a video that explains (along with some adorable animation) how this happens.

According to researchers the drool and dirt brought in by these pets can have a beneficial effect on the unborn baby of the house. The immune system of the baby is still developing while in-utero and having pets around can be beneficial in these times when most western houses are so spick and clean that it misguide their immune system and trains it incorrectly. The result is a lifetime of allergies. See this video to see how this happens.

Couple Shoots Adorable Baby Photoshoot With Their Puppy

Be the first to comment!
A lot of young couples face the constant nudging and nagging interrogation from 'well-meaning' acquaintances and elders, about when they're having a baby. And more often than not, the answers come in the form of awkward silences and embarrassing negation.

One such couple, Abbey Lee and Matt Kay, from Australia struggled with everyone around constantly badgering them about their baby situation, so they found the perfect solution: expanding their family with a furry, little, four-legged baby, and did an exclusive baby photoshoot in typical new parent style, and made it cute AF! The adorable photo series features lovely pictures of Abbey, Matt, and Humphry, their puppy, who's a cross between a Poodle and Golden Retriever, and is just the thing you need to see to brighten your day.

Photographer, Elisha Minette's brainchild, this series was made as a satirical response to the unilateral concept that there is only one way to raise a family. A pet is as much of a child as a baby, and can complete your family just as well.

10 Reasons To Date a Girl With a Dog

Be the first to comment!
Interested in a girl whose heart is already won by a certain furry four-legged man? Don't be jealous. His presence might have given her a leg up in the dating game.

Here's why:

1. She’s responsible. No one wants to date a flake, but a girl with a dog has got at least some of her ducks in a row. She knows she needs to keep to a schedule to care for her dog, can’t disappear on a whim, and has to budget for veterinary appointments, food, and grooming. She’s a girl who's got it together.

2. She’s independent. Don’t expect her to be overly clingy or stalkerish. She probably can’t even stay the night unless she arranges for a pet sitter, and you’re always going to occupy only a portion of her time. If you can’t deal with that, well then, too bad. Bae’s got a doggie play date to get to anyway.

3. She’s outgoing and social. And that leads us to our next point. A girl with a dog is scientifically proven to be more outgoing and social than someone with a cat or without a pet. You’ll appreciate these skills when you want to show her off to your bros and later to your family.

4. She knows the value of positive reinforcement. Nagging, criticizing, and yelling get you nowhere when training a dog. She would have realized this fact early on so you can expect more gentle guidance when she takes the lead.

5. She’s not grossed out easily. Don’t expect her to be squeamish if you’re sweaty or stinky. She picks up poop by the handful several times a day, so your grossest bodily functions might curl a hair but won’t raise an eyebrow.

6. She’s active. She might not be running marathons, but she at least takes daily walks and can hold her own during a game of fetch. And if you can think of fun adventures, like hikes and road trips, that involve her dog, major bonus points for you.

7. She loves excessive body hair. You won’t have to feel self-conscious if you’re errr… blessed in the body hair department. Your girl is used to snuggling close to a big ol’ hunk of  hair every night. In fact, she finds it comforting.

8. She’s not a neat freak. When it comes to their homes, dog owners put the “fur” in furniture. Fancy vases on the coffee table? That’ll last about two seconds with a wagging tail. This chick definitely won’t freak out if you come home drunk and throw up on the rug. She knew better than to invest in a nice one. And she’s a pro at cleaning up vomit.

9. She doesn’t need small talk. Don’t have anything to say? No worries. She can sit in silence with someone she loves because, well, she’s had a lot of practice. And sometimes the best communication happens without words, anyway.

10. She’s nurturing. Her dog is her pride and joy, and she would do anything for him. When you see her interact with her four-legged buddy, you’ll realize what a great partner and mother she’ll be one day.

And the best part of all this? You'll be a dog owner yourself soon and will get to experience an unconditional love and friendship like you've never known before.

10 Reasons Why Having A Dog Is Better Than Having A Boyfriend (Well, most of the time!)

Be the first to comment!

Dogs and boyfriends both words exude immense love for their owner/gf however there are several days when a girl would wish to exchange her boyfriend for a cute and loyal dog. Here are the top reasons why having a dog is sometimes better than having a boyfriend/husband ... and even a kid.

1. They'll be there for you

Your little 4 legged friend will remain with you ALL the time... through thick and thin, through bad singing and vomit bouts, through high fevers and romantic make outs. Your pup won't leave your side unless you tell it to. Like a loyal little friend, your dog can always be counted on to be there when you need it the most.

2. They love you, just the way you are.

Whether you look like Lord Voldemort or Dark Vader, your dog doesn't care. What she does care about is how much you love and care for her... and she'll be there always waiting to you give back the love and hugs and slobbery kisses.

3. Don't you love those puppy eyes?

After a day of dealing with horrible bosses, snarly traffic jams and double faced friends, here is a face you can absolutely trust. The love in these eyes will make all the troubles go away.

4. A dog is a little baby sans the tantrums and maintenance

Aren't they actually like little babies? Only they won't sulk and pout when they don't get what they want. They are the best little toy for you.

5. A Perfect travel companion

Once you have taken a trip with a dog, you know that she is the perfect travel buddy. She will enjoy the shit out of your road trip.

6. You'll never again worry about spilled food or leftovers

Spilled food? Not a problem for these little lickers! They will wipe all of it all your floor in a matter of minutes.

7. You will never, ever have to worry about the security of your house

Need explaining? Ask my UPS guy.

8. Never again worry about missing out on a few gym sessions.

The little, 4 legged guy at home will make sure you get plenty of exercise.

9. You won't sleep late, ever

You don't need an alarm clock, you don't need a wake up call. You don't have to worry about missing out gym or office. Your dear doggie has been appointed the official waker-uper of the house.

 10. Prepare to get smothered by love

Once you have a dear doggie at home, you will not need anyone else. She will fill all you waking hours with unconditional, even suffocating love. If you have more than one be prepared to get attacked with loving slobbering tongues and paws that just want to feel your love.

How To Help Your Dog Learn How To Swim

Be the first to comment!
While there will always be dogs who will take to water like the fish, you will also see those that hate swimming. Some try and see to fail repeatedly while some don't even find the need to try.

As a friend and guardian, it is your job to teach your dog how to swim and a few tips and a little guidance from an expert can go a long way towards helping you reach your goal.

If you like this video and found it useful, you will certainly like Doggy Dan's way of training dogs. Make dog training supremely fun, highly effective and ultra-fun by learning it from one of New Zealand's most trusted and leading dog experts. Learn more about this highly recommended doggy training video membership program  HERE.
The important points here are:

1. Make sure that your dog is safe and is not going to get into trouble or have a bad experience.
2. Try to ensure he has a fun time and doesn't get too scared when he goes in for the first time.
3. Give the dog his/her own time and let them learn at their own speed, not at yours!
4. Stay calm and relaxed. Try not to keep calling your dog!
5. Let him build his own confidence. You can boost his encourage him by wading into the water yourself. Do not lead the dog into the water using a leash.
6. Don't rush him because that way you'll scare him. The dogs know their own pace very well, let them work through even if it takes weeks or even months.
Not all dogs are naturally good swimmers:
The following dogs can all struggle:

       >> Heavy boned dog
       >> Very large breeds
       >> Muscle bound dogs
       >> Some dogs with very thick coats can also struggle.
All this while you'll need to remain calm and considerably detached. Use low energy and remain firm.
